Help me PRINCETON!

Princeton Walk:

It's official, My hometown will be hosting it's first GreatStrides walk ( Walk for Cystic Fibrosis)!!! I've done 6 walks: 3 in Peoria, IL, 2 in Champaign, IL, and 1 in Hollowayville, IL in the past couple years.

However on
 JUNE 28, 2014!!!!!!!!!

I'm so excited to have Princeton have a Walk! My hometown has always been supportive and helped encourage me. My teachers understood when I missed classes, my friends understood when I did my nebulizers while hanging out,, and my family has always been there for me!

What everyone needs to know about the walk:

THIS IS A TRIAL WALK. If we have a good enough turn out at the Walk, it will become a permanent walk site! Which I would love very VERY MUCH!! Please help me make this a reality!

Since this is the FIRST WALK! Before it can become a Walk Site with its own online registration and fundraising pages, we have show them we can bring enough people to the walk!

The Foundation Said:  For this year's Walk will register under TEAM PRINCETON at the Tuscola, IL Walk Site. City of Princeton's Walk Site! Click Here!  (make sure to "join a team"- search for Princeton and scroll down to join the team) Facebook, call or email me if you have questions!

This allows me to keep tab on the number of people signed up, while allowing everyone who signs up to have an online fundraising website. Registering early, helps me to see about how many people are attending. (helps with food, T-Shirts Counts, etc). So PLEASE consider registering early.  You do not need to walk at the Tuscola Site, just Princetons.

We are justing using their site to sign up for online purposes!

So don't forget sign up UNDER TEAM PRINCETON at the TUSCOLA walk. If you need help, just ask. I can sign you up and help you with it!

Here is a picture of my Team Last year! Thank you to everyone who has ever walked with me and I hope to see you all next year in PRINCETON!

SIGN UP OR DONATE BY CLICKING ON THIS LINK: City of Princeton Walk Teams Registration Page! (make sure to "join a team"- TEAM PRINCETON)

Let's make this walk site a permanent location and have an amazing turn out.Help me spread word. :-)

YAY- HAPPY REGISTERING... I hope.... :-)

Today's BIG Appointment

I discussed last week about my recent struggles & goals. I have been dealing with a lot all at once! Family planning (update on that in 2 weeks), my Grandma's funeral, lower lung function. Through it all I have remained very compliant with my meds! My health is VERY important to me. So this last weekend I took my vest machine, wabi sterilizer system , and packs of ensure to my parent's for the weekend. I wanted to make sure I did everything. While it was a sad occasion, it was still pleasant seeing almost all of the family together again. Actually 27 out of 29 of the cousins made it to the funeral. Grandpa is in the middle of the picture (can you find me?) LOL   On top of my medications I have been doing some dancing & walking, but no jogging or anything. I'm still counting calories on my fitbit (hitting over 3000) a day (& 40 grams of protein, 50 grams of fat at least). I knew I was feeling a bit better than before, but wasn't sure what to expec...

Beginning of the Year Troubles

Normal "beginning of the year" troubles for Andrew and I only really consist of one topic: Our Deductible [please no Obama, or government bashing] I've always had high deductibles ALL MY LIFE (no matter who was president). The problem is I hit my deductible within the first week of January. In the past I have always prepared for this and since I was still on my father's insurance (up until last year) he typically paid the bill (at least for medical stuff). And in the future Andrew & I won't have such an issue with this. We will be able to save and plan ahead for the $3,000 (for my deductible, his is another $3,000). However, this year was more difficult. We saved all 2013-2014 for our wedding & honeymoon, plus had our deductible saved too. But Real Estate was a pricey career to start, I've put almost $5,000 into it (classes, dues, licensing, exam, advertising, etc). So needless to say our deductible disappeared, thanks to my new career. Wh...

Sleepover and upcoming Clinic!

Sleepover & Clinic is soon! Every summer my cousin Kazia (now 13yrs old) comes to stay with my mom for a week or two. And usually I will have Kazia stay the night a couple times at my apt. Kazia stayed at my house the last two nights. The first night we just ate pizza, watched a movice, and fell asleep early. ( Picture of Hot n Cold Makeover-which while she was writting H and C on my face, It felt like H and O...I was glad to see it wasn't.lol) But last night we rented some movies, did makeovers, and ate junk food, all while I was hooked up to my stomach feeding. It reminded me of when I used to stay at Aunt Karla's (Kazia's Mom's) house in the summer. I grew up very close to Kazia's sister, Devahn. Devahn and I were always spending summer at each other's place. We are tight as cousins can be. We spent a lot of time hanging out with a couple older cousins too, mostly Patricia and Mary. Some of Patricia and I's outings are hilarious, but that's ...
