Xanadu, Insurnace and Some Denny's

Xanadu! The musical Xanadu opened last night! The audience was smaller than what we had hoped for, but with all the flooding and bridges closed.... What  can you do? Xanadu has a great cast. I have loved seeing all of them. When it's over It will be bittersweet. I will miss seeing everyone and spending time with them. I could use the time to catch up on homework, work extra shifts, or spend it doing meds. This last week has been particularly frustrating as the company my Dad works for got bought and our insurance changed. So of course they started denying my meds. I got almost all of it figured out yesterday. But now they said they need a couple more days to straighten out everything with the pharmacy (apparently my CF pharmacy wasn't in contract with them...ugh) So after we looked up stuff on line and I called a couple people, waited on hold for a couple hours, and rationally discussed (lol) everything over the last two days. We have come to an understanding. Except my TOB

Birthday Fun!

Birthday Fun! I've been sooo busy with school and trying to keep up with meds/ stay healthy that I haven't blogged. Sorry at the epic fail on my part. Sooo my birthday was last Saturday! I had a great day! Andrew and I met my mom and cousin Kazia (she was staying at mom's) for Donuts at my friend Larry's Donut Shop. He didn't have my favorite kind :-( BUT I tried something new and loved it just as much! YUM :-) Andrew and I hung out most of the day at my house. I did my meds, he played guitar. It was pretty chill. Then we got all dressed up and went out to dinner and to a DeMolay Reunion/ Installation. I got to see a bunch of friends from that youth group I used to be in (hadn't seen some since 2006). It was amazing seeing everyone, hearing how everyone was doing, and I even got to dance. Note: I love dancing...too much. No birthday would be complete without dancing! Then Andrew and I went out for food with a couple really good friends and hung out!

Doing All My Meds, say Wha?? :-)

On Track: I've done all my meds since last Saturday! Wow, a full week!!! Which means I have finished my 5th FULL week! I'm participating in a CF fundraising Walk and my I promised everyone that for each $100 raised I will do a full week of meds! So far we have raised $645 (online) so I have another full week of skipping NOTHING to go! I will count cash/checks when they are turned in (either before or at walk). I'm going to add that for every 5 new walkers registered I will do a full week as well! So join the walk and get four family or friends to join us too and I will do another full week! We currently have 20 members, so anyone who joins starting now will be counted! I know, I know, "you should do all your meds anyway..."   I try. But it is hard to stick to it. Late at night when I'm tired after play practice I want to just fall asleep. I don't want to stay up another hour to do meds. But knowing my family and friends have been actively getting p
