We need your help to reach our site goal of $8,000!

Raised to date = $4,137   (our CF2 Team is $,2165 of that)

You can reach your goal with these last minute fundraising tips!
1. Make a self donation. Your success starts with you!

2. Email your online letter out to all of your contacts – for one last fundraising push before the walk!

3. Imagine how much your team could raise if each of your walkers raised the minimum of $100 to receive the GREAT STRIDES t-shirt! Ask four people to donate $25 to reach that goal!

ok guys,
I'm sooo excited, thank you so much. Bring whoever with, people can register at the walk and just make a donation of any amount (really $5, $10, etc). Our Team colors are purple, white, and gray, but wear whatever! There are 3 teams total and there will be around 80 people total. We have a team of 25 and have raised $2,165! If we all reach our goals though, we will just under $4,000! So lets try to make $3,500 happen! :-) Then we have contributed almost one half of the Walk Site's Goal! We can do this! Can't wait to see everyone tomorrow (rain or shine)! Love you all! text or call me with ?s.
Love,
Cheriz

Today's BIG Appointment

I discussed last week about my recent struggles & goals. I have been dealing with a lot all at once! Family planning (update on that in 2 weeks), my Grandma's funeral, lower lung function. Through it all I have remained very compliant with my meds! My health is VERY important to me. So this last weekend I took my vest machine, wabi sterilizer system , and packs of ensure to my parent's for the weekend. I wanted to make sure I did everything. While it was a sad occasion, it was still pleasant seeing almost all of the family together again. Actually 27 out of 29 of the cousins made it to the funeral. Grandpa is in the middle of the picture (can you find me?) LOL   On top of my medications I have been doing some dancing & walking, but no jogging or anything. I'm still counting calories on my fitbit (hitting over 3000) a day (& 40 grams of protein, 50 grams of fat at least). I knew I was feeling a bit better than before, but wasn't sure what to expec...

Beginning of the Year Troubles

Normal "beginning of the year" troubles for Andrew and I only really consist of one topic: Our Deductible [please no Obama, or government bashing] I've always had high deductibles ALL MY LIFE (no matter who was president). The problem is I hit my deductible within the first week of January. In the past I have always prepared for this and since I was still on my father's insurance (up until last year) he typically paid the bill (at least for medical stuff). And in the future Andrew & I won't have such an issue with this. We will be able to save and plan ahead for the $3,000 (for my deductible, his is another $3,000). However, this year was more difficult. We saved all 2013-2014 for our wedding & honeymoon, plus had our deductible saved too. But Real Estate was a pricey career to start, I've put almost $5,000 into it (classes, dues, licensing, exam, advertising, etc). So needless to say our deductible disappeared, thanks to my new career. Wh...

Huge decisions, big impact

I wasn't sure if I wanted to discuss this or should write this post. I had to make a really tough decision this week. I have been struggling with it for months. I finally decided to bite the bullet and do what I needed to... I decided to share because there are probably many others in the same or similar situation. Well, here it is: I took a giant step back in my career.<insert gasp> That's right. I, Cheriz Kunkel, houses fanatic, architecture loving, Realtor, has taken a step away from her Real Estate Career. Let that sink in. NOTE: If you are looking to buy or sell- STILL CONTACT ME. I still make commission on referrals!!!! Plus, I worked with some AMAZING realtors that are friends. So please still reach out!!! Realtor of Year: 2017 I have been a Realtor for 5 years now and I have LOVED being in this industry. Helping people buy & sell, nothing gives me a greater joy than having a 1st time home owner excited to purchase their own HOME! I had always wanted to do R...
