"Mixed Up " Monday. Randomness.

"Mixed Up" Monday

Yesterday, was a day full of random stuff. Random GOOD stuff, but still. I had no car, as it is still dead in my Garage (but it's getting looked at tonight). I spent the morning hanging out with my lil cousin, then had lunch with my friend, Sarah. I finished the outline for my headboard, so it could be cut out. I then just have to paint it and attach it (a project I started over a month ago..lol). I did my meds and went to Tech rehearsal. I'm doing spotlight for Mulan Jr. Which I have never done before. I have worked with running the lightboard once, when I was in high school. But first time ever doing spotlight.

Earlier in the day, after I styled my hair for the day, I realized how boring it was to do my hair. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my short hair. Short hair looks better on me, but as you may know I never get the same hair style or cut twice. I get bored and like changing it up. With it being short, I can't braid it or anything. I never want to permanently dye my hair, then I couldn't change it. However, I had some washable dye in my cloest and I decided to throw some blue in my bangs.

Of course, Wednesday, I'm going job hunting. Therefore, all the blue will disappear on Tuesday night and reappear Thursday.

As far as job hunting, not sure where all to go, but I know I need a job! Summer almost over, so I will be done watching all the kids. Keeping fingers crosses for something. Besides babysitting, job hunting, and doing Tech, I'm going to start jogging again!

I'm hoping my medical problems will not come back. I found another 5K to do! It is at the beginning of September! Very excited to try again! Fingers crossed this one works out!

5K. I could cry. Beyond Annoyed.

My 5K I paid my registartion fee weeks ago, have been training and I'm ready for the 5K. However, I didn't get to run my 5K today. Why? Because Cystic Fibrosis decided to one up me. I got my spots back friday, and they just got worse and worse. They look like this: They take over my feet, and sometimes my calves. I posted about this a few weeks ago. I had them during the last few performances of Hairspray. I call it the "Mummy disease" because when it happens my joints freeze up and I can't move. So the morning of my 5K I wake up and they are on my thighs...     and on my arms. This is the worst they have been in years. I took pictures to show Dr. B at my clinic on the 11th.  I'm just really bummed and upset about my weekend! I was supposed to run my first 5K!!!!! I then had a bags tournament in Peoria for the Dream Factory, and was then going to head to Champaign for Sat night- Monday! My friend Alex, reserved me a ticket for Ren...

My Dad Deserves More Than 1 Day!

Happy Fathers' Day to ALL the Fathers out there! I wanted to post a list to why I'm sooo thankful for my dad (its faster, bit more fun, and I gotta get ready for my Dad's Cookout still)!!! Top 15 (10 isn't enough..lol) reasons Dad should get more than a day of celebration: 15. He loves meeting people, making friends, and is quite social. 14. When something goes wrong, he is the person that can say the right thing to make me smile :-) 13. Is always honest. 12. Few yrs ago, he gave me HIS car, (so i could get back and forth to work/play practices) He rode his bike to work and back (he enjoys it too tho) 11. Best Sense of Humor! 10. He never complains, ever! 9. Growing up my Dad worked 6am-3pm at one job and 4:30-10pm at another. 8. Dad still managed to go to 99.9% of my performances 7. He is the least judgemental person ever, he talks to & helps everyone! 6. He is a pro at making doctors, insurance companies, & hospitals do ...

Today's BIG Appointment

I discussed last week about my recent struggles & goals. I have been dealing with a lot all at once! Family planning (update on that in 2 weeks), my Grandma's funeral, lower lung function. Through it all I have remained very compliant with my meds! My health is VERY important to me. So this last weekend I took my vest machine, wabi sterilizer system , and packs of ensure to my parent's for the weekend. I wanted to make sure I did everything. While it was a sad occasion, it was still pleasant seeing almost all of the family together again. Actually 27 out of 29 of the cousins made it to the funeral. Grandpa is in the middle of the picture (can you find me?) LOL   On top of my medications I have been doing some dancing & walking, but no jogging or anything. I'm still counting calories on my fitbit (hitting over 3000) a day (& 40 grams of protein, 50 grams of fat at least). I knew I was feeling a bit better than before, but wasn't sure what to expec...
