Laura/Lara- two amazing gals

Laura and Lara

Today, was a pretty normal day. Work, Meds, Jog, Blog. Instead of jogging, we walked 2.5 miles. (which I recorded in my spreadsheet and I will be doing data analysis later using all the variables I can come up with...) But here is the more EXCITING part of my day:

I was asked a week ago to be a guestblogger for  Lara's Blog. She is climbing  Mt. Kilimanjaro to raise awareness & funds for CF in memory of her best friend Emma! I hope everyone goes to her blog and wishes her good luck!

She posted my introduction and guestblog today!!! So check it out Right HERE!
Lara, Thank you for your hard work and dedication to helping find a cure for CF!

AND then there is Laura ( a different Laura), she is my best friend. Laura has CF too (we met when we were really young)!!! I know she has been going through a tough time. But she is the one who got me invovled in CF awareness! My first CF fundriaser was in 2008 at a CF Walk that Laura told me I should do... and I have been doing them ever since!

So Laura, here is some more inspiration for you!

First blog: Hello

My first Blog: A little About Me I'm not sure why I have decided to start a blog, however, here I am.  I have honestly thought about writing about my life for years, but have always chickened out. I have finally decided to share the experiences life has thrown at me. The biggest reason I have been asked to blog by people is because of everything I have dealt with medically. I have Cystic Fibrosis and a few other medical problems...This is probably the best reason why I should blog. I can relate to others who are dealing with medical problems, however,my CF is also why I did not want to write this blog. CF can be embarssing and annoying sometimes... but it  has helped define who I have become to be as a person. Therefore, (yes, even though I want it cured) I don't hate having CF. Let me start off with some basic info and statements. I'm 26 yrs old and have dealt with CF all my life. In this blog you will hear recent stories (good, bad, embarassing); a...

Tech-savvy Thursday- new look!

New Look: Getting Tech-Savvy: Since, I'm getting more involved in blogging, I decided it was time to give my blog a makeover! eMake-overs are always fun, whether you getting a new hair style, or outfit at the mall. However, I've been researching a lot about blogs and social networking. And I thought it may be time to update my blog's look.      I think I like my new one (at the top) a lot better than the old one (pictured on right). What do you think? I wanted my blog to feel more personal and I wanted to make it more tech-savy. I kept the black/purple color scheme. But made the purple the main color instead (and made it a softer purple). I then started looking up how to make my own buttons, widgets, etc. It isn't too hard to find tutorials for anything these days, between google, pinterest, and forums, you can pretty much find instructions for anything. I used a simple code and photobucket to make my own buttons: I think my new Tw...
